Frequently Asked Questions

What is your style of wedding photography?

I take a relaxed but organised approach to wedding photography. Before your big day, I'll get all the details from you - timings, group photo lists, and any special moments you want captured. That way, on the day itself, I can work efficiently in the background while you simply enjoy celebrating. You can relax knowing everything's taken care of!

I'll capture all those natural, candid moments as your day unfolds, along with the traditional posed shots you'll want for the albums.

Do you charge extra for Travel?

Travel is included for weddings within 45 mins travel time from Warwick. I don’t often venture much further simply because photographing a wedding is a long day and the last time I want is a long drive home after a long day.

What do you wear when working?

I always wear a suit as my standard attire. In very hot weather, I may opt for suit trousers and a shirt, but I always ensure my shoes are clean and formal, and my suit is plain and well-presented. I want to dress smartly to show respect for your wedding while not drawing attention to myself with bright or eccentric suit styles. My aim is to look presentable and blend in naturally with your other guests, allowing the focus to remain on you and your celebration.

How far in advance should we book you?

I like bookings a year to eighteen months ahead or less. I welcome last minute bookings as much as ones further ahead. I work full time as a photographer and will often have gaps in my schedule for last minute weddings.

Do you do more than one wedding in a day?

No, I only do one wedding per day. If I am booked all day its not possible to do more than one but if I am booked for a few hours I still only do one per day because I want all of my focus to be on your occasion.

What happens if you are ill on our wedding day?

In 15 years of wedding photography, I've never missed a wedding due to illness - and I intend to keep it that way! I take my health seriously and look after myself, especially in the lead-up to weddings. If I ever start feeling under the weather, I make sure to get plenty of rest and take precautions.

That said, I do have a network of trusted photographers I can call upon as a backup plan, just to give you complete peace of mind. Your wedding will be covered, no matter what.

When will we receive our photos?

I aim to send you 10-20 preview photos anywhere from immediately after your wedding to within one week - so you'll have some beautiful images to share and enjoy while I work on the full gallery!

The complete gallery is typically delivered within four weeks. Occasionally during peak wedding season, this might extend by a week or two, but I'll always keep you updated on progress.

How many photos will we receive?

You'll receive a wide selection of images - my aim is to share a generous gallery so you can choose your own favourites. If I've learned one thing in 15 years of wedding photography, it's that everyone's perception of a great photo is deeply personal. You're the expert on what you love and how you want to look - I'm just here to give you plenty of options to choose from!
